DESIGN STORY

There are years that cannot be described with a single word. They contain surprises, successes, disappointments, laughter, and unforgettable memories. When you look back, only one sentence comes to mind: “What a Year.”

We set out exactly from this feeling when designing this model. We wanted to create a fun, collectible design that reminds us of the passing year not just through calendar pages, but through the stories it brought to life.

While the green corduroy fabric, red brim, and gold-colored 3D star detail reflect the classic holiday atmosphere, the star and snowflake embroidery stitched across the entire cap enhances the celebratory spirit. The large "WHAT A YEAR" full patch embroidery on the front serves as a powerful focal point that brings a smile to the ups and downs experienced throughout the year.

The embroidery on the brim, inspired by holiday knit patterns, creates a warm and nostalgic feeling, while the "NEXT ONE PLEASE" embroidery under the brim symbolizes leaving the past year behind and welcoming new beginnings with the same excitement.

In designing this model, our goal was to create not just a fun holiday hat, but a special, collectible piece with masterful embroidery and limited production that you can take out of your closet and wear with a smile every year. That is why "What a Year" has taken its place in the collection as one of the most characteristic and delightful models of the RustandRich Limited Collection.

ABOUT THE PRODUCT

Trucker Hat - Limited Collection - What a Year - Green, is one of the special production models from our Limited Collection, which blends the holiday spirit with RustandRich's fun design philosophy. Featuring a green corduroy front, a dark green mesh back, and a red visor, it combines classic holiday colors with a modern twist.

The "WHAT A YEAR" design on the front is a special full patch application crafted entirely using embroidery techniques. The large star at the top of the patch is applied using 3D embroidery, while the "WHAT" text is also executed in high-density 3D embroidery. The contours of the patch, the "A YEAR" text, and all other details are finished with multi-layered embroidery.

While the star and snowflake embroideries on the velvet front panel give the model a lively and fun look, the decorative embroidery on the red visor, inspired by holiday knit patterns, reinforces the collection's theme. The RustandRich signature logo patch is located on the right side of the hat.

The breathable mesh back and adjustable snapback closure easily adapt to different head sizes, offering comfortable use all day long.

Inside, a cotton lining is used on the surface touching the skin to ensure comfort. RustandRich branded trims, a cotton sweatband, and special Limited Collection inner print details are among the premium features that complete the user experience.

The "NEXT ONE PLEASE" detail under the visor is prepared as an embroidery application rather than a print, giving the model a unique character that complements the collection's playful spirit.
