DESIGN STORY

The following text was written by art historian Yiğit Aydın for the Frida model, part of the Art Collection.

“This hat is not merely an accessory; it is a symbol of an attitude. I wanted to evoke Frida Kahlo’s courage, the strength born from vulnerability, and the freedom to tell one’s own story without reservation. Instead of hiding her pain, she transformed it into art and chose to face the world with her own true face.

While creating this design, I wanted it to embody this mission of Kahlo’s: to walk with your head held high, without concealing your own story.”

ABOUT THE PRODUCT

Trucker Hat - Art Collection - Frida - Green, is one of the most unique models of the special collaboration collection within the RustandRich Art Collection, developed in partnership with art historian Yiğit Aydın. The special illustration on the front, inspired by Frida Kahlo, is crafted using high-density, multi-colored embroidery covering the entire cap. This special piece is one of the models with the most intensive embroidery craftsmanship in the Art Collection.

The entire front panel is designed as a single-piece embroidery composition. The Frida Kahlo portrait, tropical plant patterns, monkey figure, white cat, and all visual details are applied using a high-density, multi-colored embroidery technique. Thanks to the use of different thread colors and multi-layered embroidery applications, every detail of the design is rendered with high precision.

The visor is crafted with green fabric. On the visor, the slogan "I Can Laugh. I Can Enjoy." is embroidered in white. The underside of the visor is finished with green fabric. The butterfly and flower embroideries on the underside of the visor add a unique character to the model.

The back section consists of mustard yellow mesh panels. There is a RustandRich logo detail on the right side. On the left side, there is a special logo detail featuring butterflies and flowers. The model is completed with a mustard yellow adjustable snapback closure system.

Inside, a cotton lining is used on the surface that touches the skin to offer a comfortable user experience. RustandRich branded trims and a cotton sweatband ensure comfort throughout the day.

SIZE CHART

Our hat models are offered in three size options—Small, Standard, and Large—to accommodate different head sizes.

Small Size XS-S (52–54 cm)
Suitable for teenagers and users with smaller head sizes.

Standard Size S-M (55–59 cm)
Our most commonly used size option. Suitable for standard adult head sizes.

Large Size M-L (60–64 cm)
Suitable for users with larger head sizes.

To determine the best fit, you can measure your head circumference and select the corresponding size from the chart below.

DELIVERY AND RETURNS

Your order is carefully prepared and shipped in a special protective box. You may return your product within 14 days of the date you received it.

Products to be returned must be unused, undamaged, have their tags attached, and be sent back in their original packaging. Returns of products that have been used or are no longer in a condition suitable for resale will not be accepted.

Returns and exchanges are not available for personalized hats prepared specifically for you. We recommend that you check the personalization details and your size selection before completing your order.
