DESIGN STORY

Frida Kahlo told her own life story and world through a powerful visual language. We were inspired by Frida’s art while designing this hat.

We brought together references from the works of different artists in the design. We reinterpreted these references from a contemporary perspective.

We placed the phrase “Beyond Reality” at the center of the design. This phrase describes the aspect of art that transcends reality.

We combined neon colors with classic art references. We chose velvet fabric as one of the main surfaces of the design. We used shades of pink, turquoise, and neon green together.

Thus, we designed a hat that brings different art worlds together with today’s street style.

ABOUT THE PRODUCT

Trucker Hat – Art Collection – Frida – Pink/Neon Green is a trucker hat model that brings together an art theme with different fabric, color, and embroidery applications.

Special velvet fabric is used on the front panel of this trucker hat. A visual artwork inspired by Frida Kahlo has been applied onto the velvet fabric.

The front section features 3D “Beyond Reality” embroidery in neon green. The raised embroidery creates a distinct layer over the visual artwork.

Pink-toned velvet fabric is used on the brim of the hat. The phrase “End Limits” is embroidered on the top part of the brim.

The undervisor is turquoise. The linear design in this section is prepared with neon green embroidery.

The back of this trucker hat is designed with neon green mesh. The phrase “RARE” is embroidered on the side of the hat. On the other side, there is a 3D RustandRich patch embroidery.

The interior of the hat features custom-patterned fabric and inner bands with the RustandRich logo. There is an adjustable snapback closure system at the back.
